    Notes An active heronry in the trees on the largest island, lower reaches. Nests unfortunately very difficult to see clearly, but there were at least a few well-grown chikcs of Reed Cormorants and Cattle Egrets, and 1 Black-headed Heron nest with 1 well-grown chick. Also present: Sacred Ibis, Grey Heron and African Darter.
