    Notes Water levels were still very high with grasses still submerged despite this being a dry season count. Access is becoming more difficult. The settling pans have apparently been 'sold', to whom we do not know. Hottentot Teal with ducklings (7) observed on one settling pond. The NW parks section is not open to casual visitors, a special arrangement was however made by Lesley and Errol as Honorary Officers (HOs) of NW parks. Bushwillow remains private land and is only accessed due to the Robinson's owning property there. Currently there is no pontoon for use as per recent counts. This method can bring about greater coverage of the dam and breeding islands and the shoreline on the other side of the dam. Nick & Amy Bezuidenhout who were previously instrumental in arranging access and pontoon counts have left Bushwillow estate.
