Notes Carried out at low tide when birds are visible on the tidal mud flats. I do not know whether waders would be visible at high tide so prefer to do a low tide count despite the difficulties of navigating the shallow water with a boat. Our White-fronted Plover count was reduced by one due to the actions of a juvenile Lanner Falcon! The Greater Flamingos were all juveniles with the exception of two. Did not count Cattle Egret as did not realise this was a CWAC species. Probably c. 15 present.
