    Notes Weather excellent. No wind, fog, rain or heat but WET! Vlei Inaccessable. Youngest observer, 10yrs Cara Smith. First bird count for her. A 1970 Kombi was used to do count in and got stuck in mud. Goliath Heron was a regular visitor.
