Notes Pumps removed December 2018 (due to continued theft)and saltpans abandoned and then dried out. 12 Oct 2021 freshwater was diverted into pan from Motherwell stormwater canal. Pans are now very (110%) full of freshwater that is urban stormwater and hence contaminated with non-solid waste. Slightly saline due to salt remaining from saltpan era.
