    Notes Count conditions was perfect when we started, however later during the count the wind picked up. Two exotic ducks (Mallard) were spotted and culled during the count. The Osprey was a surprise, did not expect to see this bird during the winter. Black Crake juveniles were running on the shore being very uncertain about themselves. Shore distance is 24km.
