Notes Lagoon filled up to the extent that it is difficult to walk all along the shoreline. We had to do a bit of bundu bashing to get up to the tar road as we couldnt get past the security fence of Benguela Cove. We then had to walk all along the tar road to Benguela Cove and drive back to the security fence to resume our count. This is not the ideal situation as one loses control over the movements of birds during the time spent walking to get to the other side.
