    Notes Water level was high - the tide was right up to the main salt marsh vegetation on the shorefront and channels were full, however away from the channels it was quite dry and birds were restricted to those areas which were flooded nearer the channels, surprisingly few birds along the shore front - mainly Greenshank and a couple of flocks of Curlew Sandpiper.
