    Notes Water level low (c.20% full) - upper reaches of the river sections checked on foot. A lot of the Kitlitzs Plovers were seen while on foot, in short grassland next to the dam, so others could have been missed from the boat. The 25 Ringed Plovers are the most Ive seen at any wetland in the Free State. Egyptian Goose breeding: 1 ad with 2 young (class Ic), 1+4y (IIc), 1+4y (Ib).
