    Notes Dam 36% full; Riet River section not accessible by boat. Most of this scanned later with x60 scope on a tripod, from near bridge; very few birds so it was not checked on foot - a few smaller birds could have been missed. Breeding: 1 adult Goliath Heron on freshly constructed (empty) nest on rocky island towards southern end.
