Notes The conditions of the wetlands and habitat of Darvill are a disaster! Long uncut grass and weeds, concrete steps to the settling ponds covered with grass, dry roads just mud furrows, water areas mostly dried mud and silt, and this includeds the spillway areas. Although we said we covered 100% of the open water, that was all that was available, which was actually only about 15% of normal! Along the main path to the settling ponds there were three large piles of cut/dried grass rotting in plastic bags. Quite, quite horrid, and so few waders. Darvill will soon be an area no longer suitable for seeing the migrant waders.
