    Notes Level lower than in winter. Very hot, calm. A section of the upper reaches, up to the bridge, was inaccessible by boat. Most of this was checked from the bridge with a scope on a tripod - with only 9 birds seen, I didn't bother to walk to the section not visible (takes about another hour). Egyptian Goose broods: 1 adult with 6 young (class IIc) and 2 adults with 5 young (class IIa).
