    Notes Lovely conditions to CWAC. Lagoon still relatively full for mid-summer. Noticeably absent - most duck species, Red-knobbed Coot (none), Common Moorhen (none), Little Grebe (none), Black-necked Grebe (none). There is very little to no grasses to feed off in the shallow waters for these birds. Obviously haven't recovered from an artificial breach on 29 September 2008, followed by a natural breach on 14 July 2009. Very few Reed Cormorants, Terns and Gulls either but a large flock of Pelicans and White Storks (the latter in Section A1). Not sure whether the fish stocks have improved but the birdlife, in the main, certainly hasn't.
