    Notes Early morning drizzle gettting stronger, water calm. Beach at Meerensee Mouth almost deserted because of the rain factor. Mouth is still open and no water to the left of the boardwalk. No problem accessing Meerensee at Security. All arranged. The beach which is usually teeming with W.F. plovers produced two birds.....weird. Not a single Duck,coot or grebe to be seen. No Blacksmith Lapwings either.
