    Notes The emergent vegetation is growing across the pan making observation and identification of waterbirds difficult. There is increasing numbers of people ploughing up the land for agriculture on the shores of the pan and so disturbance is a major activity that will affect birds. The pan is drying up - some water is still accessible to birds but is not accessible for observation.
