    Notes A clear, calm day. Level of dam quite low - was able to go as up river far as the ruins of the old bridge; later scanned from the S136 bridge with a scope - very few birds in the section visible, so it's likely that few birds were missed by not walking the rest of it. Breeding records: Egyptian Goose - 2 adults + 7 young (class 2c), 2 ad + 9 y (2c), 2 ad + 3 y (1c) 1 ad + 3 y (2b); Cape Teal - 2 ad + 3 y (2b).
