    Notes At Meerensee - left of the Boardwalk - right at back of the lagoon, past the last (only) hide, we encountered huge mixed flocks/roosts of Hartlaub's Gulls/Swift Terns/ Common Terns and possibly a few Caspian Terns in the mix. We didn't have a scope unfortunately. We estimated about 1400 birds in the mix of which 20% were Gulls. 40% Swift Terns (Bigger)/ 20% Sandwich Terns and 10% possibly Caspian Terns and 105 Common Terns.
