    Notes The wind direction changed suddenly from the NW to NE direction at about 10H00 with a fresh icy wind and dropping air temperature. The clouds lifted and the sun appeared through the clouds at about 11H30. The air temperature still remained cold and windy from the NW. There were a large number of Spoonbills present at the yacht basin. It was noted that there are piles of harvested waterweed stacked on the northern shore of the yacht basin. Note - a pair of Spotted Thick-knees were present in the Zandvlei Canoe Club boatyard
