Notes Estuary areas accessible by boat at low tide - this cuts one off a few big chunks of shallow water, and excludes the heads. This is essentially the main channel, starting at Featherbed Bay (just inland of the mouth,) extending westwards up the main channel, includes Bollard Bay, east of Brenton-on-lake, west of Thesen Island, the main channel between the Point and Belvedere, the Bay of Biscay, Crabs Creek, White Bridge and ending at Red Bridge. This probably accounts for 60% of the water body.
