    Notes Pumps removed Dec 2018 due to continued theft, saltpans abandoned & dried out. 12 Oct 2021 stormwater from Motherwell canal diverted into pans, allowing them to fill up with freshwater (still some salinity due to salt in sediments). Currently 110% full (overflowing) & 20% covered with algae.
