    Notes This wetland was severely impacted by the floods in April 2022 and again recently, the Eichornia cressipes dominate the open water and the flood water has deposited water vegetation from upstream of the Mbozambo river onto the banks and into the wetland. The roads are impassable and the wetland is full to overflowing. there is also indication of fish species being transported to the wetland from the river during recent flooding.
