    Notes Weather was very good for counting. Sunny and light winds. I recorded the Tibetian Sand Plover (Lesser Sand Plover) as a Siberian Sand Plover. The river mouth has just (this week) closed after a prolonged open connection to the sea. The 157 unknown birds (waders) were all at rest with their heads tucked in and could not be identified properly.
