    Notes Approximately 20% of site covered with water hyacinth. Considerably lower infestation than in previous recent counts. Could this indicate a low tolerance for periodic drying of the host wetland? Strong inflow of water into the pan via a channel in the north. Does not appear to be sewage but source unknown.
