    Notes Receding tide. Floodplain dry, including fence pans and big pan. Heronry pan full, relatively shallow. Reeds at entrance (and to right of entrance) burnt recently (pan open) - lots of exposed mud, with waders. Couldn't get to log pan. Motor vehicle/ on foot.
