    Notes The site is heavily infested by water hyacinth. Other threats include illegal miners, snaring of waterfowl, extensive harvesting of grass sods, heavy trampling by cattle, looting of infrastructure and accumulation of plastic waste along the shoreline. The mass of brown water hyacinth and strong glare combined to produce poor visibility in places.
