Brief_description
Numbers of Dabchick, Whitebreasted Cormorant, Darter, Egyptian and Spurwinged Geese, all ducks (except Whitefaced), Redknobbed Coot, and Blacksmith Plover, have peaked in winter. Great Crested Grebe, Knobbilled Duck, African Jacana and African Fish Eagle are recorded. Very few shorebirds occur. Mild threats are posed by fishing and pollution.
