Brief_description
Two dams in a 3200 ha nature reserve. This site was counted in 1997, when 29 waterbird species were recorded, 22 in summer and 23 in winter. The summer count yielded good numbers of Cattle Egret and reasonable numbers of Darter and Sacred Ibis, while the winter count yielded good numbers of Dabchick, Whitebreasted Cormorant and Egyptian Goose. Redknobbed Coot is numerous, especially in winter. The spread of Black Wattle is a potential threat.
