| The count starts at the Swartvlei Beach Car Park and moves west towards Gerrike’s point and then to a point called Journey’s end. The count area only includes the area from the waters edge (spring low tide) to the frontal dune, therefore the count is conducted on foot only The coastal count contains rocky platforms, sandy beaches, subtidal rocky reefs and subtidal sandy benthos. |
